The skinny on me Hi how nice to see you – Thanks for popping over to check out some of my music What’s with the Xfile monicker? I don’t use Xfile as my production name these days but it came about because it is a anagram of Felix. I do love sci-fi but the TV series is pants, lets face it, so it isn’t anything to do with Fox or Dana Scully. Any new music on the Horizon? Funny you should ask – yes, I was invited to put out a cassette on experimental label Linear Obsessional release date 11 june 2019
*What I do *
I work as a producer and creative coach out of my studio in Islington.
I have recently been Recreativating *myself and am actively supporting others to do the same. for more details email me
...
*What I make
I love all kinds of music but I tend to make bass heavy, electronic organic dance music, often with an acoustic global twist.
I often collaborate with other musicians and artists including a long term collaboration with tabla don Aref Durvesh.
I love to work with vocalists and I am looking to expand to working with dancers - visual artists and acrobats (if this is you please email me !!)
.... Whats your current project ? Any new music on the Horizon? Funny you should ask – yes, I was invited to put out a cassette on experimental label Linear Obsessional release date 11 june 2019
Blip-cuts Linear Obsessional Linear Obsessional is delighted to present this amazing album of micro-dub, glitch-funk miniatures by the London based producer and musician Tigersonic. Using an technique of carving her tracks down to the essentials Tigersonic eschews the 12" stretch of a lot of dance, dub and electronica and instead produces a set of 20 tracks - (average length two minutes or considerably less) none of which outstay their welcome. Blipcuts by Tigersonic Blip-Cuts Leftfield Dubtronica for short attention spans
I am making short visual pieces or blipcuts
